Our low gluten hosts are produced in Poland and sourced via Ireland.

The ingredients are wheat starch and water. The gluten content is 6.2 parts per million. In USA and Europe, products with gluten content less than 20 parts per million are considered commercially “gluten free”, although this standard has not been applied in Australia. Whilst being largely gluten free there is sufficient wheat in these hosts to be considered “valid” matter for Catholic Eucharist.

Sales from these wafers generates funds in support of programs run through the charity, Northside Community Enterprises. Founded in 1993 to serve the long-term unemployed, with further
education, training, and work programs.  Their work helps young people back into jobs who may be recovering from addictions, people released from incarceration trying to make their way back into society.
