Hand Painted Our Lady of Lourdes 110cm

Our Lady of Lourdes, large outdoor statue, made of polyresin, which is a very long wearing product. It is made for outdoors, so there is no problem having Our Lady of Lourdes in the garden. Like anything you put outside, the sun will fade the paint eventually. If she is placed under a tree or under cover that will be better. The other thing that effects the coating is what the birds do….just like the paint on your car…it is best to wipe bird droppings quickly.

How easy is it to clean? You only need a soft cloth and water. Any chemical sprays will eventually effect the paint.

How long until it needs repainting?  From experience, if you have Our Lady of Lourdes outdoors and out of the full sun, the paint will last approx. 3-5 years, if not longer. It is the sun that fades the colour. If Our Lady of Lourdes is indoors or under complete cover the paint will be good for 10 years plus.
