Solid 9 Carat Yellow Gold Miraculous Medal on Solid 9Ct Yellow Gold Chain.
The Medal measures 16mm in length of oval shape with a bevelled edge. This traditional Miraculous design came originally from France in 1830 by St. Catherine Labouré. The reverse side of the medal has a croSterling Silver representing Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation, while the bar underneath stands for the Earth. The ‘M’ stands for Mary and her true devotion both to Jesus and to her children on Earth. Beneath the Cross, bar, and the M are two hearts side‐by‐side: the Sacred Heart of Jesus crowned with thorns and the Immaculate Heart of Mary pierced by a sword. The two hearts represent the love of Jesus and Mary for us.
The chain is a wheat link, measuring 45cm long and is 1.2mm in diameter. It weighs 2.32grams Solid 9Ct Gold.
